About Chukko

Chukko was founded in 1991 as a bright and cozy pastry shop. The founder and ideological inspirer of the institution was the famous French confectioner Jean-Pierre Glezor, a member of the Guild of the best confectionery in the world.

The excellent quality of cakes, pastries and pastries made the Chukko popular among visitors and their acquaintances, who were recommended to try this or that product. Subsequently, they returned to the confectionery already as buyers.

Chukko confectioners still use recipes and culinary secrets left over from the establishment's founding. During the existence of the confectionery, employees adopted the experience and studied with such famous masters as Nicolas Pango, Frederic Noyer, Mikael Azus, Frank Fuhrman, Louis Badenhorst and many others.

Lemon chiffon cake sounded incredible, and the icing is UNBELIEVABLE. The sponge itself was just okay. Brownies are super and VERY rich. Shop attendant was very helpful and pleasant.

Service with a smile. I visited the store this week and it was a really great experience. On arrival, all 3 members of staff greeted me with enthusiasm and a smile. The size of the cake I wanted wasn’t on display, so a staff member went and got it from the back, without prompting. I was asked if I had far to go, so the cake could be double-bagged if needed. The staff member came around the counter so he could open the door for me on the way out. Everyone was really helpful.

Lovely little hidden gem. After googling and looking for somewhere with nice cakes nearby I found it. Cakes galore with loads on display. We had a latte and a brownie each. The cake selection is huge and the staff are lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend it, especially as the selection is plentiful and the staff very polite and friendly.
